In deference to your great bulk
I stepped aside
And by the nose
Led you to a chilly barn
To feed and nourish
The beasts soul -
Heard your feet
Upon cobbles creep
Into the long ago -
And felt the rough
Warmth of your breath
Your dribbling chewing
Ecstasy of rest.
