   Woodlands Golf Club

Woodlands suffered a tremendous loss with the death of one of it’s most treasured employees, Mary O’Regan. Mary worked here form the initial days right up until recently and her presence will be dearly missed. Her lively personality, warm smile, quiet wit and generosity to all won her many friends. She was a joy to work with, and extremely considerate to all her fellow workers. A sad loss to all at Woodlands. Mary will be dearly missed and all here extend our sincere condolences to her family.

To the family of Larry Lacken, a member of Woodlands golf Club, we offer our sincere sympathy at his untimely passing. Larry will be dearly missed from our course by all members.

Similarly we regret the untimely passing of Mr. Robin Cusack and to all members who have recently been bereaved we extend our sincerest sympathy.

Old Cow

In deference to your great bulk
I stepped aside
And by the nose
Led you to a chilly barn
To feed and nourish
The beasts soul -
Heard your feet
Upon cobbles creep
Into the long ago -
And felt the rough
Warmth of your breath
Your dribbling chewing
Ecstasy of rest.
