June Mona Newsletter

_______________June Editorial_______________

Hi again. Another month gone and another issue produced. Thanks to all the people who contribute so generously of their time and effort. Without you there would be no newsletter. Thanks also to the members of the community who turned up for our AGM, which was held recently in St. Kevin’s. An awful lot of positive feedback was received on the night and plenty of suggestions also.

This month there is a Blanket Objection Form for anyone wishing to object to the proposed Thermal Waste Treatment Plant which is going to be located in Kilcock. There are 2 articles in this months newsletter, which highlight the concerns of the local community, both near and far. Anyone wishing to get any more information can contact Gail @ 086/2426659.

Because of the amount of election material in this months issue there is no Kid’s Page. Sorry about that Kids but we promise to publish all articles next month. The Kid’s Page is now open to all schools in the community. This month there is also an Art Competition for the children of the community. There will be 40 finalists, with final adjuration taking place on Sun 6th June at the Timahoe Annual Field Day. The 40 finalists will be put on display in the Credit Union office in Coill Dubh, sometime during the month of June.

Deadline for the next issue of the newsletter is Friday 25th June. Any article submitted after that date may not be included in the next issue of the newsletter.

The Mona Committee.
