October Mona Newsletter

__________October St. Kevins News___________

St. Kevin’s would like to congratulate every-body involved with the great achievement of Kildare reaching the All-Ireland final. Having claimed our first Leinster since ‘56 maybe the nice feel of silver will push every-one to follow up with more of the same. To Martin Lynch and Pauric Craven in particular we would say, Martin we remember this year when you devastated both Dublin and Meath on our behalf. Pauric, we remember your goal against Laois and also the way you kept 2 defenders very busy against Laois when we were down to 13 men, all of which helped get us to this Final. So our simple message is this "Heads up every-one of you. We’re delighted for you".

LOTTO

Now stands at £3,200. Some of our local £25 winners of late are 1 Paddy Denaghen, 2 Sandra Bryne, 3 Geraldine Barrett, 4 Paula Mangan, 5 Philomena Casey, 6 Kitty Maguire. Tickets readily available from all Coill Dubh or St. Kevin’sellers.

St. Kevins would like to congratulate Coill Dubh on their recent C/ship.

AGM coming up soon, watch for announcement.

Great to see Pat Flynn back to work after his recent long lay off due to back problems.

Sad to say there is still no trace of our Lawn-mower and trailer that was stolen recently.
