SCOUTS
Kildare 22nd Scouting Unit had
their first Beaver meeting in St. Kevin's club rooms on Tuesday
15th January 2002. Cub scouts are starting on February 5th
2002. Many thanks to St. Kevin's for all their help and of
course the use of their facilities. Membership is full for
both groups. Application forms are available for the waiting
list or for anyone interested in becoming a leader. The more
leaders we have the more children we can accommodate. If you
are interested please contact one of our Unit Leaders: Vincent
Waters at 045-869022 or Elaine Kane at 045-863572. The very
best of luck to all the new scout leaders: Elaine Kane, Willie
Kane, Maureen Barron, Ger Bendorf, Threasa Noone, Vincent
Walters and Phyllis Walters. Well done for getting involved
and taking on a very worthwhile job for the children of the
area, and may we salute you all!
