The Adult, Basic and Community Education Centre in Naas provides a facility for adults who wish to return to education.
We offer a wide variety of courses in an informal and friendly environment. If you wish to take advantage of one of the many courses on offer, you will experience learning in an adult, student-centred environment.

About our Group
Initial monthly meetings were held and socials and outings for people were organised. Interest grew and membership increased as more people wished to become more active and involved with their community. In June 1997, premises were made available to our group. Now with our own premises in Naas the group could set about establishing an Information Centre. This made it possible for the group to develop a greater cohesion, to improve the quality of meetings, to operate more efficiently and to establish a support office to progress projects, plan activities and represent the interests of our members both nationally and internationally.
At present the group consists of about 90 members, ranging in age from 18 to 85. The members of our group are not only extremely active, but show an enormous passion for learning and a willingness to help others. The group take part in many different activities.
