Sgt Niall Lynch, newly appointed to Monasterevin station, wishes to inform the public that the garda station will be open daily from 9am to 1pm and from 7pm to 9pm (manpower permitting). Sgt Lynch would like to remind the holders of firearms that their licenses are due for renewal and should be applied for as soon as possible.
A male grey Husky dog, aged about six to 12 months was found wandering in the
grounds of Moore Abbey, the owner should contact Monasterevin gardaí.
Following the dangerous prank on the railway line at Monasterevin, the local gardaí
expect a prosecution to follow, and warn that any copycat incidents will be dealt with severely.
