Barretstown Big Picnic

The annual Barretstown Big Picnic takes place on Saturday 14th July 2018 from 11am-5pm and everyone is invited to come along.

It is generously sponsored by Brady's Family Ham and Homebird

The Big Picnic is set to be an action-packed day of serious fun activities.

Fossett's Circus will perform three live shows for attendees (Booking essential) and there will be plenty of other activities on the day as well.

The Big Picnic gives families and supporters the rare opportunity to experience the Barretstown Magic for themselves and see what the camp has to offer.

It also gives parents and friends the chance to reconnect with their own childhood through the fun activities.

Activities taking place on the day include pony rides, balloon making, face painting, canoeing, bouncy castles, petting farm, mini golf and much more including competitions and prizes. 

Entry to Barretstown on the day is free of charge but families are encouraged to donate whatever they can.

The circus performances will take place at 11:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm and booking tickets for this is essential!

Tickets for the circus cost €10 for adults and €5 for children

Brady’s Family Ham and Homebird are the generous sponsors of the Big Picnic and will have some tasty treats on offer.

Families are encouraged to bring their own picnic to enjoy or food will also be available to purchase in the new Barretstown Dining Hall, Elizabeth’s Treehouse.

There is no cost to come and enjoy the day at Barretstown, but there are costs to visit the circus and booking is essential, so please book early to avoid disappointment - they are booking up very fast!
