This Exhibition will explore the impact of the First World War on the Irish Country House, the surrounding estate and its inhabitants.
Curated by the Centre for the Study of Historic Irish Houses and Estates, Maynooth University, and the OPW-Maynooth University Archive & Research Centre.
This exhibition, to mark the centenary of the 1918 Armistice, presents a perspective of the Great War from inside the Irish Country House.
This exhibition will utilise material from more than ten aristocratic families and display material from the estate archives of Ballindoolin House and Airfield.
