Athy tidy towns is a voluntary group that meet up every thursday Rain hail or Shine to make Athy a more beautiful place to live.
It's one of the only organisations in the town that with only a small number of dedicated volunteers does so much.
The Athy Tidy Towns Annual Awards Presentation Night takes place on Friday 30th November in the Athy Municipal Council Office at 7.30pm.
Awards for the following will be presented on the night in the following categories:
Best Kept Estates
Highly Commended Awards
Creative Place Initiative Award
Nature and Biodiversity Award
Best Traditional Shopfront Award
Most Attractive Shop
Best overall Business
Youth Endeavor Award
and some other great initiatives
