Round 3 of the All Ireland Senior Football Championships Qualifiers
Date: Saturday 29 June 2019
Venue: St. Conleth's Park
Throw-In: 5.00pm
Last Saturday, 22 June, Kildare had a convincing win over Antrim by 1-25 to 0-14 in Corrigan Park, Belfast in Round 2 of the All Ireland Qualifiers.
This weekends game against a Tyrone side that were runners up in last years all Ireland, will be difficult.
Confidence, belief and a strong performance is required if Kildare are to progress to Round 4 of the All Ireland Qualifiers.
Last year Kildare reached the All Ireland Quarter Final Group Stage, by winning all 4 Rounds of the Qualifiers, including a memorable win over Mayo in Newbridge in Round 3.
They also beat Derry, Longford, and Fermanagh in the Qualifiers, before not advancing to the All Ireland Semi-Finals with Kerry, in a group won by Monaghan, with Galway runners up.
All eyes will be on St. Conleth's Park this Saturday, while some will also be keeping an eye on the 2019 Irish Derby at the Curragh.
