Local Naas artist showcases her work
Naas born Artist Sonya Cullen is returning to her home town to hold a solo exhibition of varied pieces. The 22 year-old studied at Crawford College of Art and Design in Cork and is currently based in Carlow.
Naas Library will host a collection of her abstract-figurative work, portraiture and street-style art; altogether a group of pieces infused with a compelling balance of quirky and dark elements.
Sonya has recently had her work exhibited in Castletown House, Celbridge, and her art has featured in the film Agoraphobia. Sonya is interested in a diverse range of visual styles and this will be demonstrated at her exhibition in Naas Library from Tuesday the 9th to Saturday the 13th of September.
The Exhibition will be opened by well-known Naas poet and politician Timmy Conway. All welcome.
