Fairies, Ghosts and Ghouls- Fantastic Irish Folklore

Tales of banshees, monsters, ghosts, piseogs, fairy folk and much, much more is what you can expect to hear from Legendary Storyteller Eddie Lenihan as he treats listeners, young and old, to a magical storytelling afternoon at Riverbank Arts Centre.

Children of the 80s will have great memories of Eddie Lenihan’s TV appearances. His tales of mystery, magic and Irish folklore have been presented and reinvented throughout the years and have never lost their charm or fascinating quality.  Eddie’s unmistakable, energetic style of storytelling has the power to captivate and enchant any audience and will leave everyone in awe of our Irish heritage. He is fun, he is wild and his stories are a treasure trove to fuel the imaginations of children.

Eddie Lenihan has been telling stories and keeping Irish Folklore alive for many years and, with many wonderful books to his name, let no one be fooled by the words 'for children' on each. Adults will find this story session equally thought-provoking, amusing, grotesque and more.  A great opportunity for adults and children alike to learn something about our Irish folklore in a captivating way. Tickets for Fairies, Ghosts and Ghouls- Fantastic Irish Folklore with Eddie Lenihan takes place at Riverbank Arts Centre, Newbridge on Saturday Octobeber 10th at 3pm.
