Stones In His Pockets

Stones In His Pockets

Due to phenomenal demand, the highly-acclaimed Stones in His Pockets returns to Riverbank!!

The multi-award winning comedy Stones in His Pockets by Marie Jones is a funny but poignant tale set in a quiet rural town in Ireland which becomes overrun by a Hollywood film crew. The story revolves around Charlie Conlon and Jake Quinn, who, like much of the town, are employed as extras for the filming.

Starring Simon Delaney (Bachelor’s Walk) and Conor Delaney (I,Keano), much of the comedy of the play is derived from the efforts of the Hollywood production crew to create the proper “Irish feel”, a romanticized notion that often conflicts with the reality of daily life. It calls upon the cast of two to perform all 15 characters (men and women), often switching gender and voice with swift dexterity and the absolute bare minimum of costume changes - a hat here, a jacket there...

Back due to unprecedented demand, don’t miss your chance to see Stones in his Pockets this time around- book now to avoid disappointment.
