Spanish Art Exhibition

The opening will have twenty paintings on canvas rendered in oil and acrylics with different styles of paintings. Twenty percent of the benefits will go to support Caring for Chinaaâ?????s charity

The artist Hadasa Castellanos from,                                                                      Valencia,Spain, invites you cordially to her First Art Exhibition that will be held from March, Saturday 20th 2010 at one 0’clock pm accompanied by a Spanish Cocktail , it will be until the first of April, In Leixlip Library’s Lounge. The opening will have twenty paintings on canvas rendered in oil and acrylics with different styles of paintings.

 

 Twenty percent of the benefits will go to support Caring for China’s charity, a charity registered in Ireland, CHY 12371, runs various baby unit for abandoned and sick children and occupational training centers for physically and mentally challenged young people, in central China. It was established in 1995 and continues to give quality care and love to many venerable children. Educational therapy  and rehabilitation are provided with specially trained staff for those with special needs. CFCC runs and manages three baby units, an occupational training centre and health service centre and relies entirely on volunteer support. 100% of all donations goes directly to the work in China”

 

Hadasa Castellanos was born in Madrid in 1983 but she spent most of her life in Valencia and now she lives in Clane, Co. Kildare. Hadasa started to paint in 1998 and over the years she has trained in different skills such as oil, pastel and acrylic paintings thus achieving her own style. This was influenced by some great authors such as Sorolla, Klimt, Van Gogh etc.. Over the years, She has attended art classes and she now feels confident to display her firs art exhibition.  

 

The styles of this exhibition include themes in surrealism, expressionism,   minimalism and realism. Some of them are inspirited by Spanish life style, landscapes where the artist found peace, balance and harmony. On the other hand, some of her work carries a contrasting   soft stroke with definite strong lines. Such material highlights an expression of   happiness, light in the shadow, a feeling, a value, a special place or just something that the viewer can indentify with
