The series is for modified road cars and is therefore designed to appeal to Car Track Day and Modified Car fans as well as Saloon Racing enthusiasts.
The series was only announced recently but already has reached its goal of attracting Track Day drivers in to Motorsport with a number of cars and drivers who would be familiar to Track Day fans having already committed to competing in the series.
So attractive has the championship format proved that a full grid of modified road saloons is expected including cars from such teams as Tuning Factory Racing, Urban Performance, J-Stone Racing, JOMO Engineering and Westward Engineering. An influx, drawn in by the chance to see cars they are familiar with on the road put through their paces in a racing environment, is also expected.
If you are a track Day fan and have never been to a Mondello Park race event the inaugural ITCC race is definitely the ideal opportunity to put that right and sample Car Racing for the first time.
