Mindfulness is the act of intentionally bringing awareness to the present moment: paying attention in a particular way on purpose and non-judgementally.
This skill is developed through commitment to training in regular mindfulness practice. Mindfulness cultivates a way of being that allows people to live with greater freedom from stress, tension and strain. This course is based on the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn and the renowned Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programme.
