This Seminar will bring together a range of experts who will:
· Outline the current position on international climate change agreements;
· Identify how changes in climate will impact on growing conditions in Ireland;
· Discuss how the increasing demand for food can be met while at the same time mitigating the effects of production and
· Highlight the opportunities for energy crops, in particular crops that can replace peat in the generation of electricity.
Admission to this seminar is free and open to the public but registration is essential.
