Come join with us in experiencing a Classical Victorian Christmas with a twist... The perfect treat for every child...
A Classic Victorian Christmas an experience featuring Santa, Scrooge, tricks, treats and much more is free for Parent and grandparents Children cost €4.00.
This magical experience for the children and their family will start at Scrooge’s work place, then Elf Bo will help them to Santa’s Sledge which is loaded down with presents, the children can jump on board and the parents can take that all important free photo.
Next stop is our Reindeer food station where they will meet Elf Cracker who will tell them all about the Magic Reindeer Food. Treat yourself to a chocolate covered Lolly at our Chocolate Fountain which Patricia Keatley Doyle has kindly donated her services to us on the Saturday and on the Sunday we will have Mrs. Claus who will give out milk and cookies.
Then the children will have to be very quiet as they peep in and hear Elf Snores A Lot sleeping and then into poor Rudolph who has lost his Red Nose here the children can stick his nose back on.
Santa will then be waiting for them with some sweets and their own cert to say whether they have bee naughty or nice.
A Classic Victorian Christmas will open with a thank you reception for all those who supported the Athy Heritage Centre-Museum in 2010 on the evening of Friday 17th (Adults Only for this night) with mulled wine, mince pies and Christmas Carol singing.
