Art Exhibition in Naas Library
Naas Community Library is hosting an exhibition by local artist Robert Lyons during library opening hours, from Wednesday 19th to Saturday 29th January 2011.
After recovering from a serious stroke in 1997, art soon became an integral part of Robert's life. This exhibition - entitled 'Some More Mill Race Paintings' - consists of over forty works of art, primarily in acrylic format.
Robert's working method, with its particularly expressive brush work, creates a definitive and recognisable style; influenced by artists such as Matisse, Gaugin, Van Gogh, John Lavery and Jack B. Yeats.
The exhibition will be open to all during library opening hours from Tuesday 18th to Saturday 29th January.
