A creative and innovative workshop. A unique porcelain snowflake for each participant
Join ceramic artist Isobel Egan for this creative and innovative workshop which will result in a unique porcelain snowflake for each participant. Following exercises to excite and inspire the imagination, children will roll, make, draw, score, mark, emboss images and learn how to apply colour to porcelain resulting in a beautiful porcelain snowflake for Christmas.
Natural light will illuminate the magical translucent porcelain snowflake when hung by a window. Isobel will then take the porcelain snowflakes away to be fired in the kiln, which will then be returned to Riverbank Arts Centre, for collection by the workshop participants.
