Adelaide Masters Series Riders Forum and Prizegiving

Adelaide Masters Series Riders Forum and Prizegiving

Sunday January 26th at Mondello Park

Mondello Park will hold its first ever Motorcycle Competitors forum, prior to the commencement of the new Adelaide Masters Series season. The forum will take place after the annual pre season flag and anti-doping seminar, which will be held at the circuit on Sunday January 26th.

The seminar will be organised jointly by the Mondello Park Sports Club and Leinster Motor Club and the forum is scheduled to take place immediately after the seminar. Details of the 2014 Adelaide Masters Series season will be announced at the forum along with presentation of the 2013 championship awards.

As part of the Mondello Park presentation on the day, information on the proposed expansion of the 2014 Adelaide Masters Series TV coverage will be discussed, as well as any changes to the event format that this will entail. A new proposal to restrict the number of tyres used by riders in the Superbike and Supersport classes, aimed at reducing costs and enticing more riders into the premier classes, will also be outlined.

Due to logistical problems the planned introduction of a championship awards night in 2013 did not happen so last season’s championship trophies will be presented at the Riders forum. Ideas for the 2014 championship awards night will be put forward for discussion and any other issues which riders wish to air can also be aired.

All previous and prospective championship competitors are welcome to attend. Due to the addition of the Riders forum, the flag and anti-doping seminar will now take place at the earlier time of 10:30. The Adelaide Masters prizegiving and forum will take place immediately afterwards and is expected to begin around 12:30.
