<p>Kildare County Council gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 that it intends to close:</p>
<p>The L1006-1 road from the junction at Kishawanny Bridge to Oldcourt Crossroads at Highfield Golf Course from Monday 11 June to Friday 15 June 2012 to all traffic each day between the hours of 8.00a.m. to 6.00p.m.</p>
<p>The closure is required to facilitate essential road maintenance works.</p>
<p><strong>Alternative routes</strong>: Adequately signed diversion routes will be provided on all approach roads for the duration of the works. Emergency and local access will be maintained at all times. Any objections/observations should be lodged in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Roads, Transportation and Public Safety Department, Level 4, at the address below on or before 5.00p.m. on Tuesday 22 May 2012.</p>]]></description>

<p>Kildare County Council in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 9 of the Road Traffic Act, 2004 (No. 44 of 2004) hereby gives notice of its intention to make a Special Speed Limit Bye-Law in respect of Kilmalum, Blessington, Co. Kildare.</p>
<p>The purpose of this Bye-Law is to provide for a Special Speed Limit on a designated section of the road network in County Kildare in the interest of prudent traffic management and road safety.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Notice under Section 13 of the Planning and Development Acts 2000-2011,</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Amendments that constitute Material Alterations to </strong><strong>Proposed Variation No. 1 of the Kildare County Development Plan 2011-2017</strong></p>
<p>Notice is hereby given that the Members of Kildare County Council, having considered Proposed Variation No. 1 of the Kildare County Development Plan and the Manager&rsquo;s Report thereon in accordance with Section 13 of the Planning and Development Acts 2000-2011, have resolved that the Proposed Variation of the County Development Plan be amended.</p>
<p>The proposed amendments constitute a material alteration of the Proposed Variation of the Kildare County Development Plan 2011-2017. The proposed amendments are accompanied by information on the likely significant effects on the environment of implementing the proposed alterations and are prepared in accordance with the Planning and Development (Strategic Environmental Assessment) Regulations 2004 and Article 6 of the Habitats Directive 92/43/EEC</p>
<p>The reason for this variation is to ensure that the objectives for the six towns are consistent with the core strategy of the County Development Plan. These plans will replace existing Local Area Plans for the above settlements.</p>
<p>Copies of the proposed amendments, the Strategic Environmental Assessment Screening Report and Appropriate Assessment Screening Report may be inspected at the locations listed below during the period of 4 weeks from <strong>Thursday 10 May 2012 to Wednesday 6 June 2012 inclusive:</strong></p>

<p>If your name does not appear on the register, you can get an application form to have your name included on the supplement register at the above locations.</p>
<p>Completed application forms must be received in Kildare County Council by Monday 14 May in order to be included on the supplement register for the forthcoming referendum.</p>

<title><![CDATA[Extension to Road Works Speed Limit Order - Kildare Town Wastewater Treatment Works]]></title> 
<description><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>EXTENSION OF ROAD WORKS SPEED LIMIT ORDER</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>ROAD TRAFFIC ACT 2004 (Section 10)</strong></p>

<title><![CDATA[Household Charge]]></title> 
<description><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;<strong>Household Charge</strong></p>
<p>The &euro;100 Household Charge must be paid by 31 March 2012.</p>
<p>The Household Charge is an annual charge introduced by the Local  Government (Household Charge) Act 2011 which is payable by owners of  residential property.</p>
<p>The &euro;100 charge will go towards paying for essential services in Co  Kildare; fire and emergency services, maintenance and cleaning of  streets, planning and development, public parks, street lighting, public  open spaces and leisure amenities. These facilities benefit everyone.</p>
<p><strong>Payments can be made:</strong></p>
<p>On line at www.householdcharge.ie by credit card or debit card;</p>
<p>By post to Household Charge, PO Box 12168, Dublin 1;</p>
<p>In person at the Finance Department, Kildare County Council.</p>
<p>If the &euro;100 Household Charge is not paid by 31st March late payment  fees and late payment interest will apply, during the period the  household charge remains unpaid.</p>
