Green Flag for Scoil Bhride Naofa

Scoil Bhride Naofa, National School, in Kildare Town were awarded the Green Flag as part of Green-Schools Programme run by An Taisce in conjunction with Kildare County Council. The Green Flag was raised at a ceremony in the school grounds on 19 June. Luka Bloom performed at the ceremony.

Green-Schools is an International environmental education programme, designed to promote and acknowledge whole school action for the environment. The award is given to schools that successfully complete the Seven Steps of the programme.
