The
basic skills learned while they play are counting, colour differentiation, distinguishing
between shape and form, eye and hand co-ordination.
Pre-school children find it easier to hold a pencil when they
start school so learning to write is not as difficult.
The outdoor equipment not only encourages physical development but
instils confidence. The children have a mid-morning break when each child gets a turn to
give out the glasses, pour the drink and give out biscuits.
