the young for adult life. Safe, satisfying play builds the foundation for learning.
Playing is essential to a child’s mental development. Through play a child masters
basic skills which prepare them for understanding the world around them these would
include expression and communication.
Play can help the child to learn to pay attention
to stick at a job, to be able to concentrate. Playing in a group gives children a chance
to face problems, to think them through and to learn how to solve them.
Play gives children an opportunity to learn to give and take, to
share and to get along with others.
