COURSE TITLE:
BLUEBERRY ENTERPRISE ACDAL PROJECT

DURATION: 30 weeks

COURSE AIM: On completion of the course the participants will have acquired basic skills in Horticulture. Have a good working knowledge of computers and Information Technology and have gained their ECDL licence through a series of 7 training modules. They will develop the necessary transferable skills, which will help them to gain employment in the I.T. and Horticultural areas.

COURSE CONTENT: Information Technology
  Life and Social Skills
  Practical Hortiicultural
  First Aid
  Manual Handling / Safety
  Presentation / Communication Skills
  Office Skills

TRAINING METHOD: 30 weeks of formal training, with reliance on "hands-on" practical training coupled with related subjects

PARTICIPANT PROFILE: Unemployed people with an interest in learning Horticulture and Computers Skills and who are willing to be team players.

CERTIFICATION: ECDL Driving Licence
  FETAC Certificate
  Occupational First Aid Certificate (3-year)
   
EMPLOYMENT PROSPECTS: Office and Computer employment.
