PARTICIPANTS PROFILE: Unemployed people with an interest
in learning new skills and securing a childcare qualification.
TRAINING METHODS: 44 weeks of formal training with
a heavy reliance on "hands-on" practical training
coupled with related subjects. The instructions will contain
lectures, discussions, practical exercises, project work,
individual assignments, counselling and assessments.
CERTIFICATION: FÁS/City & Guilds Childcare Level
II Certificate
EMPLOYMENT PROSPECTS: Progression to employment in
the area of childcare/crèches/nursery.
