Highlights:
Poetry and Music Concert, The Road Around Erin with Frankie Gavin and Desmond Egan, Poet in Moore Abbey Saturday 25th at 8.15. Some tickets still available 30 euros.
Film showings – an innovation of 2009. Includes award winning documentary by noted film director, Hekki Hiltunen from Finland; and a dramatized version of The Wreck of The Deutschland, first put together by James McKenna.

Field trips include: Celbridge, Emo, Maynooth; Naas; Newbridge and a Guided Tour of Monasterevin.
Come and have a glass at the Grand Opening. Visitors will include ambassadors from Nigeria and USA; while the Art Exhibitions will feature a wide range of Work led by distinguished Irish artistis, Michael Kane and Benedict Byrne.
Workshops:
- tie-dyeing with 3 experts from Japan – learn the technique;
- Words and Music led by Conor Mahony;
- Creative Writing Workshop led by David Axelrod (USA);
- Translation Workshop (very popular) directed by Aleksandra Kedzierska (Poland);
- there will also be a Haiku Workshop by Russian poet, Anatoly Kudriavitsky.
Lectures (daily) include
- Peter Milward (Japan);
- Robert Welch;
- well known writer, Peter Costello;
- internationally acclaimed author, Patrick Samway (US) and many others.
Poetry Readings will include
- Giorgos Chouliaras (Greece);
- Gearoid O Clerigh;
- Desmond Egan;
- Mile Pesorda (Croatia);
- Shizue Ogawa (Japan); and others.
