Facilitated by Craig Daniel, Senior Clinical Psychologist

5 week programme commencing Saturday the 14th November 2009 from 10am- 1pm.

·         Cope with your child’s negative feelings, such as frustration, disappointment and anger

·         Engage your child’s cooperation

·         Set clear limits and still maintain goodwill

·         Use alternatives to punishment

·         Resolve family conflicts peacefully

Any parent who would benefit from peer support and adding new skills to their ‘parenting toolbox’ is encouraged to attend.

Group size is limited to 14 participants.

Week 1   Nurturing Parenting & Your Relationship with Your Child

Week 2    Understanding Your Child - Ages, Stages & Temperament

Week 3    Communication, Discipline & Family Morals, Values and Rules

Week 4     Helping Your Child Take Responsibility for Their Behaviour

Week 5    Understanding and Managing Stress
