A Book Cover Designing Workshop with Adrienne Geoghegan. Suitable for 5-8 yrs

Do you find yourself choosing a book because of its interesting cover? Do you sometimes wish that your favourite book had a better cover?

Well, here’s a chance to design and create your very own book covers and take part in a workshop with illustrator Adrienne Geoghegan.

Choose from a selection of great book title, brainstorming and sketch out some ideas, design the lettering for the title, and put you very own stamp on your book cover.
 
Plus, to get you off to a great start, we’ll give you a free artpack to help you design a fantastic cover!

Rufus the Worn-Out Robot 
A story about an old Robot who stopped working, but was rescued by a lonely Old Lady from a charity shop, and turned into something amazing.

Polka and Dot
A bird named Polka and a dog named Dot, an unlikely pair of best friends, go to great lengths to be together.

Sheep Dreams
A bedtime story involving the counting of sheep turns into chaos when the energetic sheep refuse to settle down for the night.

Elegant Ellie
An elephant's dancing skills and good manners surprise everyone at the royal ball, including the Queen.

The Cat’s Pyjamas
Joey spends a lot of time and effort making his cat a pair of pyjamas, but the cat refuses to wear them, until he gets a brilliant idea!

The Very Messy Princess
Princess Nellie is the messiest princess in the castle.  She has six beautiful tidy sisters, who spend their time arranging the cushions, dusting the ornaments and having bubble baths.  Nellie spends her time playing in the garden in her favourite wellies, but her sisters laugh at her and call her Smelly Nellie.  What can she do?
