Migraine Information Seminar, presented by Esther Tomkins, clinical nurse specialist, Migraine Clinic, Beaumont Hospital who will inform and advise of the best medications, treatments and lifestyle adaptations to reduce the occurrence of migraine.

Migraine is a complex neurological condition that affects 10-12% of the population. 

An intense headache is only one symptom of migraine and sufferers can experience, nausea, sensitivity to light, visual disturbances, numbness, slurring, loss of speech and in severe cases partial paralysis.  Migraine can have a debilitating effect on social and working life but the good news is the intensity and frequency of your migraine attacks can be managed with medication and a good self care programme.
