Dublin are odd-ons favourites to take another Leinster Crown, having won 9 of the last 10 Leinster Finals since 2007. In the 2009 Final they defeated Kildare by 3 points, 2-15 to 0-18. This was the last Leinster Final that Kildare were in. Kildare lost the 2003 Final to Laois, and the 2002 Final to Dublin but were champions in 2000 in a replay against Dublin and again in 1998 against Meath.
On the way to this years Leinster Final, Kildare beat Laois in the quarter-final 1-21 to 1-7 and Meath in the semi-final 2-16 to 0-13.
The lilywhites supporters will be out in force in Croke Park this Sunday, roaring their team on against a seemingly invincible Dublin Team. They have a chance, but it will be difficult against Dublin's incisive forward line, having scored 4-29 in their last match against Westmeath in the Leinster Semi-Final.
Everyone in Kildare will be behind Cian O'Neill and his Lilywhites this weekend. Can they match Dublin and win another Leinster Championship for Kildare?
