A Civic Reception will take place on Saturday, 29th January, 2011 to mark the remarkable success of the Athy Gaelic Football Club minor and under 21 teams in the 2010 County Championships and Leinster tournament competitions.

This is scheduled to take place in the Athy Heritage Centre Museum, Emily Square, Athy at 6pm.

 

During the year, the Athy GFC achievements included:

- County Minor Championships won by Athy's minor team for 3rd year in a row;

- Leinster Minor Football Tournament won by Athy's minor team; and

- County Under 21 Championships won by Athy's U21 team.
