About Us
This is the website of the Kildare County Development Board, established in 2000 to co-ordinate the delivery of services at local level. The Board is made up of members of the local government, local development, state agency and social partners sectors and is administered by the Community and Enterprise Directorate of Kildare County Council, from its county headquarters at Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas.
The Board meets four times a year or more frequently as required.
Its work is defined by the County Strategy Kildare 2012 – A 10-year Strategy for Economic, Social and Cultural Development. The Board also operates through its sub committee, Social Inclusion Measures Working Group and is host to the County Research and Statistics Office.
