Kildare Community and Voluntary Forum
The Kildare Community and Voluntary Forum was set up in 2000 on foot of the recommendation of a government Task Force on the integration of Local Government and Local Development.
It was set up to enable community groups to develop a network, to establish a strong, coherent voice for the communities of the county and to act as a mechanism to enable groups to select their own representatives to sit on the County Development Board and Strategic Policy Committees (SPCs).
