ASK looking for new CEO
KILDARE GENERAL, 23 April 2002: by Brian Byrne. Action South Kildare, the local development agency promoting inclusion in South Kildare is seeking a new Chief Executive Officer.
The appointment will be on contract basis to the end of 2003, with a salary in the range of 44,441 euros (£35k) to 57,138 euros (£45k). Action South Kildare (ASK) is a community based local development agency, which promotes inclusion in South Kildare.
The successful candidate will report to the board and will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day management of ASK's operations. He or she will required to lead a team of specialist staff who are engaged in the development and implementation of a range of innovative projects.
A minimum of five years relevant experience in a middle/senior management position in local development setting is required of candidates, and a relevant third level qualification or other appropriate qualification is desirable.
A strategic element of ASK's programme will be the delivery of ADM funded activities combating marginalisation and social exclusion for the period 2000-2003.
