International Women's Day

NEWBRIDGE 25 February 2003: Network Kildare, the women's organisation, is to celebrate International Women's Day on March 5 by hosting a production of the 'Baby Doll Project' in the Riverbank Arts Centre.

The play was written by Rosaleen McDonagh and is directed by Vici Wreford-Sinnott and is described as 'a story of 'female aesthetics, isolation, abuse and racism'.

The event is sponsored by the Department of Social and Family Affairs, Kildare County Council and Kildare VEC.
