CCTV at Sallins station?

SALLINS 13 February 2003: The question of CCTV surveillance at Sallins Railway Station will be raised at the Naas Area Meeting of Kildare County Council on Thursday 18 February. The matter will be raised by Cllr Mary Glennon.

There has been a spate of break-ins to car at the station in recent months, and in the last month Naas gardai apprehended a Dublin man in relation to some of these.

Other items on the agenda include a motion from Cllr Timmy Conway that all new estates in Sallins be taken and charge. Cllr Conway also proposes that no new development should take place in Sallins until the Ring Road is in place.
