KILDARE GENERAL, 17 May 2002: by Bill Trapman. KELT, The Kildare Leader Company, has been approved to administer 5 million euros under the Leader Plus programme in County Kildare. This rural development programme runs up to December 2006. KELT is holding a series of Information Meetings to explain and publicise the Leader Plus Programme.
In particular, KELT wishes to advise people on the types of projects that can be supported under Leader Plus and the rates of grant assistance available.
Accordingly, the following meetings have been arranged:
• Monday 20th May Allenwood Enterprise Centre
• Tuesday 21st May St. Raphael’s Celbridge
• Wednesday 22nd May GAA Centre, Athy
• Monday 27th May Newbridge Parish Centre
• Tuesday 28th May The Hamlet, Johnstown Bridge
• Wednesday 29th May Glenroyal Hotel, Maynooth
