Community development group gets E60,000

NEWBRIDGE 26 March 2003: The Newbridge Community Development Project is to receive E60,000 in funding under the Community Development Project Programmes.

The money will be used to provide facilities such as meeting rooms, crèches, office facilities and training and education projects.

People with disabilities, lone parents, the homeless and long-term unemployed are all set to benefit.

Newbridge Community Development Project will receive the funding under a one-year renewable contract and will be available from September 2003.
