08 August 2003: Pauline and Bryan Leonard are looking for information about their family, formerly from Athy.
In an email to KNN they are asking anyone in Athy who remembers their family to contact them:
Hi, I live in Perth, haven't seen many of my family members, been travelling the world with my family before settling in Australia.
My Dad comes from Athy, anyone in the area, I would love to hear from folk in his home town or even direct relatives. Dad's better known as Pip in Athy I think.
I am really trying to find out how to locate my relatives over there, I do have the address of where he was born and raised (my Dad), Blair Cottages. Bridget was his mother, Sean, Patrick and James are his brothers, only James and Patrick are left other than surviving family.
Thank you for your assistance, any way that I can be steered toward or directed to help in contact would be great.
