French theatre company visits

KILDARE 13 March 2003: Troupe Cote Jardin de Corps-Nuds are currently visiting Kildare as part of a twinning exchange between Corps-Nuds in Brittany and Kildare Town.

The group performed at the final night of the Kildare Drama Festival (Thursday 13 March) where they received a presentation of Kildare Crystal in recognition of their participation in the event.

Their programme also included taking part in the St Patrick's Day parade in Maynooth along with Lord Edward's Own Narraghmore Pipe Band, who have already performed in Corps-Nuds.

There were a number of opportunities to meet with the group during their week long visit, which was of particular interest to students preparing for their Leaving Certificate French Oral exams in the coming weeks.
