Traffic Study under way

KILDARE NORTH 16 March 2003: Kildare County Council, in association with the Dublin Transportation Office, have commenced a study to be carried out by Cunnane Stratton Reynolds Consultants to set out a strategic framework plan for the development centre of Maynooth/Kilcock/Leixlip/Celbridge.

The purpose of the study is to set out a framework plan for the future development of the area and prepare a vision of sustainable and efficient centres with a balanced range of functions, facilities and amenities, building on the present strengths and above all meeting the needs of the people.

The study must be completed within 20 weeks from the beginning of February last.
