 HOW DO I APPLY?

Talking to KELT is just a phone call away. Our team is there to give you all the support and help you need in completing an application form and business plans. We will meet and talk to you about the documentation you will need, which may include tax clearance certificates, insurance policies or planning permission.

HOW IS MY APPLICATION ASSESSED?

An Evaluation Committee will examine proposals and, if approved by the KELT board, an offer of funding will be made. You will know as quickly as possible our decision if all documentation accompanies your application. Grant payments will be made on completion of the project or specified phases of it, and following an inspection by KELT. Original paid invoices will need to be submitted. A maximum grant of £50,000 will apply to all projects.

WHAT IS AN ELIGIBLE PROJECT?

To secure Leader II funding, projects should have three main features:

• they should be innovative
• they should be capable of serving as models
• they should be transferable.

Your project should also have an identified market. KELT cannot provide funding for a project if it is eligible for support under another scheme.
