Creative Well Workshops in Athy

The Creative Well is an integrated arts and health programme developed and piloted in County Kildare

Using the arts as a social development tool, our aim is to create opportunities to improve wellbeing, enhance personal development and help participants connect with others in their local community.

We are now calling for new applicants. This September The Creative Well will offer free, friendly, daytime workshops in Athy Community Arts Centre, where you can try creative arts activities. All adults aged 18+ are welcome to apply including complete beginners. Please find below an information sheet. Please feel free to circulate to anyone you think may be interested:

Creative Well, Athy Community Arts Centre

Starting Tuesday 25 September, workshops will run once a week and are delivered by professional trained artists in a supportive and non-pressurised environment. We aim to make the workshops a relaxed place to be where you will find friendly faces, art materials and a cuppa. This programme will introduce drawing, painting, printmaking, clay work and three dimensional studies.

Participation is free of charge but by application. The closing date for applications is Wednesday 29 August 2012. If you are interested you can download an application form from www.kildare.ie/artsservice or email: catherine.ogrady@hse.ie or Tel: 087 056 6784.
