Julieann Moran, the National Secretary of the Society of Missionary Children in Ireland came to our school on June 19th, 2018. Her purpose was to thank the pupils for their ongoing donations to the Missions, year after year, in St. Evin's School. Our affiliation with the "Children Helping Children" Missions goes back many years. Julieann told us that our school has donated over €35,000 in the past 20 years. What a generous school we are!

Julieann met with all the pupils and explained to them how their mission money is spent. We were delighted to hear that every single penny is given directly to Children's Projects in various parts of the Developing World. None of our money is spent on administration expenses.

We presented Julieann with a cheque from the school mission fund to the value of €2,000.

This will provide food, education and shelter for the most needy children in the developing world.

Julieann and the children joined together in a  "Ceremony of Missionary Children" which included songs, prayers and liturgy.
