Tattersalls Irish Guineas Festival

The 2017 summer racing season at the Curragh starts with these two spectacular race days.

Saturday 27th May featuring Europe’s leading colts competing in the Tattersalls Irish 2000 Guineas (Group 1).  Other races include the Weatherbys Ireland Greenlands Stakes with top sprinters from Ireland and Britain featuring in the six furlong contest, The Lanwades Stud Stakes (Group 3), Cold Move Marble Hill Stakes (Listed) also feature as part an exciting seven race programme.

Sunday 28th May features Europe’s top fillies competing for Classic race glory in the Tattersalls Irish 1000 Guineas.  Other features include some of Europe’s best middle distance horses lining up in the Tattersalls Gold Cup along with the Group 3 Airlie Stud Gallinule Stakes, an established trial for the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby.  We will also feature the big fashion day on the Sunday with Killashee Irish Tatler Style Icon competition in association with Cullen & Co.
