The initiative is made up of two components...

1.  Slí Na Sláinte Walking Routes
These mapped, measured routes use attractive signage at kilometre intervals on established walking routes to help walkers identify  the distance they walk.

2. Walking Leader Training
Aimed at training individuals in the community to establish and lead local walking groups, Community Walking Leader Training is primarily aimed at people wishing to lead a walking group or promote walking in the community or workplace.

The course comprises of a weekend  of training and a 4 week leader challenge.

Please contact tcurran@irisheart.ie for more information on the Walking Leader Training Programme and log onto the Kildare Sports Partnership website - www.kildaresp.ie for more details on the Slí Na Sláinte routes throughout the county.
