Kildare County Council invites applications for bursary awards that will develop bodies of work which enhance access to, engagement with, and enjoyment of culture and creativity within Co. Kildare. Artists, creative practitioners, community groups and SMEs are welcome to apply.

The award, in collaboration with First Fortnight, aims to support the development and presentation of new work that provokes conversation around mental health and promotes mental health awareness and wellbeing.

The Local Publishing Award was established to assist Kildare based individuals and groups with the costs associated with publishing writing of local interest. The aim of the award is to recognise the contribution of scholarly work to our knowledge of the history and heritage of County Kildare and to assist with the publication of said scholarly work.

The Platform 4 Recording Bursary Award provides three days recording in the Platform4 Audio and Digital Media Studio or use of the studio’s portable recording rig for live recordings.
