The Community Section is introducing a new online application system for its Community and Residents’ Associations grants schemes 2021.
This easy-to-use process will eliminate the need for volunteers to complete paper forms and return them to our offices. It will also simplify the assessment process for staff dealing with these applications.
There are no major differences in the questions being asked or information sought, so groups who have completed applications before will find it all very familiar.
The biggest change will be the need to verify the applicant’s signature, which will be done by clicking on a secure e-mail link that will be forwarded once the application has been submitted and received.
Community Section staff are preparing a video guide on how to complete an online application and a number of information sessions will also be held via Microsoft Teams.
In cases where volunteers cannot avail of the online process, a paper form will be made available and information will be entered on their behalf.
We hope to launch the 2021 schemes at the end of February. Full details will be made available online and in local press.
